Guidelines

The Superintendent's Honors Music Festival is an annual event that showcases the finest student musicians from Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Music students from across the District are encouraged to audition for the opportunity to participate in one of the instrumental or vocal ensembles. Prestigious guest conductors rehearse the students and present them in concert.

Dade County Music Educators Membership

Teachers must be members of Dade County Music Educators Association (DCMEA) to register students to audition. If you are not sure whether you are a current DCMEA member, please email infodcmea@gmail.com.

Parent-Student Contracts

Every student selected to perform in the Superintendent's Honors Music Festival, and their parent/guardian, must sign and submit a Parent-Student Contract. Students or their teachers must bring the signed contract to the first rehearsal.
